Details:
Club: Oakleigh/Port Melbourne
DOB: 3 March 1984 Hgt: 186cm Wgt: 88kg
Position: Half Back Flank
Natural Foot: Left
Strengths: Josh is a dashing flanker of West Indian origin who has had a most impressive season for the powerful Port Melbourne side in the VFL. A graduate of the TAC Cup with Oakleigh, he has really improved his game over the past couple of seasons.
Gibson is a very strong build, good mark and his tackling is nothing short of ferocious.
Weaknesses: Decision making still questionable at times, and might not have what it takes to take the next step. May need to work on his aerobic fitness.
Footydraft.com comment: With his build he is almost ready-made for AFL, which should suit some clubs. Will no doubt become a cult hero for any club that picks him up.
