Details:
Club: Hamilton/North Ballarat
DOB: 10 November 1986 Hgt: 192cm Wgt: 83kg
Position: Centre Half Forward/Centre Half Back
Natural Foot: Right
Honours:
Victoria Country 2003 (Emergency), 2004
State Screening Camp 2004
TAC Stats:
2003: 18 games, 13 goals, 13.4 PPG
2004: 16 games, 18 goals, 15.1 PPG
Strengths: Herring is a key position player who can play either end of the ground. He is a pretty good mark and usually a nice set shot.
'Fish' does tend to take a lot of marks at TAC Cup level (almost 7 a game) and had a fairly consistent season.
Weaknesses: Doesn't seem overly quick or mobile. Nothing really stands out about his game to make you sit up and take notice.
Footydraft.com comment: Good honest player who rarely plays a shocker, but probably won't be considered athletic enough to be drafted.
